The GoPocket product process begins by defining one practical point of friction. The problem must be specific enough that a user can understand the value of the app quickly.
The next step is to design one clear flow. Secondary features should support the main task rather than compete with it.
Testing then has to include the difficult cases. Travel environments are rarely perfect: lighting changes, internet connections fail, languages use different writing systems and information can be incomplete.
Technology is selected after the product problem is understood. Artificial intelligence can be useful, but it should not be the promise by itself. The promise should remain the practical outcome for the traveler.
